The Weekly Vintage Addict Diary: 3 June 2016

Wow, how is it June already!? Where did the first half of the year go!?
Actually, hell, where did this week go… Friday is nearly over and I haven’t even finished this post! Well Happy Friday everyone… hope you all are keeping cosy and not letting the winter blues bite too hard!

She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry – a brilliant doco about the women’s liberation movement with loads of great footage and interviews… I watched this at the Film Festival last year and now it’s on Netflix! Actually on the same theme…
♥ Netflix. I’m an addict.
That crisp cold fresh air (between leaving the house and walking to the car, it’s the perfect dosage of cold)
♥ My Kindle PaperWhite… makes making a blanket nest and reading under the covers ultra easy
♥ Vintage robes… I feel much it’s much more acceptable to wear nightwear during the day if it’s pretty and vintage, right?

Weekly Style

This week’s style collection is all about one of my favourite patterns – houndstooth! Big and bold, or small and subtle this black and white pattern adds classic vintage flair to any outfit. Keep it monochrome with black and white accessories, play it up with pops of red or even pair with other patterns! All of the items in the collection below are available from shops and sellers right here in NZ … click through to my Polyvore to find the links to each item 🙂

My Outfits

I’m wearing a lot of 60s and 70s vintage this winter! And tights, berets and turbans!
